The self proclaimed pioneer of the "prog folk" movement, Jarrah Ma is a songwriter who truly defies a single genre. With songs spanning themes of life, love, melancholy and everything in between.

Mixing humour with sincerity, his striking lyricism paired with the jangly arrangements of the 60s, a touch of bossa nova and a dash of funk make for a musical trifle that even your nan would be proud of.

After the success of his debut EP Shaving Cream, Jarrah Ma assembled his band for a string of live performances that capture the sound of his recordings and take them to a live audience with electrifying results.

Citing Motown and Joao Gilberto as big influences on his sound, and aspiring to compose in a pop format, his love for songs with big arrangements are the inspiration for his latest EP En Casa De Mi Madre.
